DAY IN THE LIFE OF RACHEL DILLON

Introducing our first collection of 2024 - A Day In The Life by our founder, Rachel Dillon. We sat down with Rach to discuss the inspiration behind the collection, styling tips and her favourite pieces.

What was the inspiration behind A Day In The Life?

I wanted this collection to be able to truly take you from day-to-night, incorporating styles beyond athleisure like our first dress and pyjamas.

What is your favourite piece from the collection?

It’s almost impossible to choose, but if I have to pick favourites - it would have to be a tie between the Open Back Rib Maxi and the Celine Crop. The Celine Crop in particular is a perfect layering piece and I can’t wait to see how our community styles it.

Tell us about the process behind designing the collection

We started working on this collection over 6 months ago. In true Rachel style, I changed the colour palette mid-way through and canceled a few styles, but we got there in the end. My favourite part of this process was working alongside my incredible design team. We have so much fun working on these collections and I am so thankful to have a team that cares about the quality and fit as much as I do.

This collection has everything you need to take you from morning to evening - how would you style it for these occasions?

Pilates class

The Misha Crop and Crossover Scrunch Leggings in our Fade fabric. Fade has the perfect lightweight feel and stretch for pilates that truly does move-with-you.

Running errands

The Celine Crop, layered with the Black V-Neck Long Sleeve Top and Ruched Yoga Pant is my new off-duty go-to. If you loved the Jersey styles from our En Pointe Collection, you’re going to be obsessed with these too.

Date night

The Open Back Maxi Dress is a no-brainer if we’re heading out for date night. For a date night at home, the Sleep Set is so comfortable while still looking chic.

Brunch with the girls

For brunch, I’d pair the Haven Tank and Freedom Leggings for something with a little more coverage, but still that sexy CSB finish. Plus, I’m a leggings girlie at heart.

To finish it off, we wanted to ask some quick fire questions about your personal style…

What is an accessory you can’t live without?

Right now, it would be great pair of gold hoop earrings.

If you could only wear one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This may or may not come as a surprise but a soft comfy pj set. Which is why this collection inspired a pj set!

What is the best styling tip you've learnt?

Less is more and dress for you. Don't overcomplicate things, I think keeping it minimalistic and timeless is key but also do what works for YOU! Fashion allows us to express ourselves, however that may be for you - own it.

What is one fashion trend you are loving right now?

Bombers, knits and all things cherry red.

How would you describe your personal style at the moment?

Minimalistic always.

What do you wear when you want to feel at your best?

I always feel so confident when I am in my CSB activewear, moving my body.
